Early on, I adored this simplicity, even as a solo player. It was ideal for a two-screen PC setup with YouTube or Netflix playing on the side. Toward the end — and admittedly, in Early Access, there isn’t really an “end” — I started to feel tapped out.
In the endgame though, its a completely different expieirence, where a lot of the bosses are basically a walking wall of death, that kills the player instantly after touching them. Melee also have a lot of "HP on hit" items, which just feels like pure cheese to play with, tbh.

When you fought Glurch, you may have noticed a bunch of orange slime on the ground. This is not just an environmental hazard — these tiles cause enemies to spawn.
Unlike the first 3 core progression bosses, each Titan boss must be summoned before it can be fought for the first time. All 3 have consumable summoning items, also crafted at the
Mold Vein Necklace are great for a strong ranged loadout, with poison, recommended for fighting Azeos. They both drop from the enemies in these very difficult sub-biome dungeons, that give little other payoff.
It doesn’t get too bogged down with resources or recipes, and the farming/food situation is easy to handle. You also don’t have to worry about nagging in-game days or schedules. And there are no NPCs to fret over yet (just a couple of merchants). The main draw is exploration — that’s the strongest aspect so far.
Glurch can jump quite far; when Glurch lands, it can destroy any wall tiles nearby. You'll want to make sure that you don't accidentally lead Glurch toward your base. Make sure you have plenty of room to move around!
